Don't really have any superstitions, but traditions maybe.
Used to always make pork and sauerkraut on New Year's Eve but don't anymore. Seems the sauerkraut we have been buying last number of years just doesn't 'cook down' like the kind we used to use.
This year we're going to have Tilapia from Costco ... yum it is sooo good.
Traditionally we always have nachos with shredded beef every New Year's Day ... the kids and grand kids are coming just so they can have nachos. But they will be here alllllllll day and trying to think of something easy to prepare to feed 12 people for late lunch or early dinner.
