I made a quilt for my sister in law while she fought cancer.She used it everyday.When she passed it was returned to me.For xmas her youngest daughter asked if she could have it to take to school with her.Her mom was so proud that she was going to collage.Maybe some of your mothers grandkids would like to have one to remember their grandma.I hope this helps.
