Thanks... so a 15K is not a model #, but indicates one of the 15 series models that was made in Kilbowie, Scotland?
That's right--the K just indicates it's factory. Some machines were marked 15- or simply 15. That does not mean they're a 15-1, as that is the old IF machine with the finger-pinching bobbin case!!
