I've never heard of fried cabbage... strangely since I enjoy cabbage (my husband can't stand it unless it's coleslaw) your idea fully intrigues me now....

As for my family we really don't have any superstitions rather than traditions, and that means never going a year without watching the ball drop. Although now it makes me very sad (I cried last year when I saw him), because I feel so worried for Dick Clark and his unfortunate medical condition. I grew up watching him...
