I have often wondered what our fore mothers' faces would look like and what their thoughts would be if they could see what we have to work with now and they did such beautiful work with such basic supplies. My Dad had to quilt as a boy. He and his brother and sister had to join Granny quilting at night. Said they had to or they wouldn't have had any bed covers.
