Do you use different weights for piecing and quilting? I have just ordered lots of the 50wt, but I'm wondering if the 40wt would be better for machine quilting.
I use the 50wt for both piecing and quilting and have never had any issues. About the only thing that I have noticed while using the 50wt for quilting is that depending on the thread color/fabric combo, the quilting doesn't show much definition. Not a big deal for me tho.
