sorry for your loss, but i would not get rid of them you might regret it later and it would be to late , see if your sister or a friend you trust might hang on to them till you can come to terms with looking at them, im sure you will be glad you kept them down the road, i had this problem when my mom died but my dad kept the things that were my moms and very dear to me and let me slowly bring the stuff home over time and i am so glad i didnt give them away ( at the time i didnt want to cope with it)
