I collected several Honey Buns from Ebay when I first started quilting - just a few months ago. Now that I'm through with specific projects for Christmas I'm beginning to play with them.

I was afraid making the sashing thinner would not set off the large strip blocks. At first planned on dark sashing, but then was afraid it would blend into the blocks. The tiny piano key border is so small because that's what I had left after I made the blocks. Making it with no sashing made it awfully small, but adding more borders might have been better - butting the blocks up against each other without the sashing......

I'm learning as I go - just like most of us - so opinions please - for another project - does the light sashing look funny amongst all the darkness in the strips? Is the piano key border so small as to not make a statement at all?
