I live near Minneapolis and I always go to Mill End Textiles in Fridley, MN! They have a lot of fabric I've seen at Joanns for cheaper prices and I can use Joann and Hancock coupons there too! They have tons of remnants that are all $2.99/yard. I always feel the fabrics to make sure I think I can use them though :)
But other than that there are a lot of quilt shops near Minneapolis. My go-to quilt shop is Bear Patch Quilting in White Bear Lake though :)
