My name is Cathy. I have been married to my husband for almost 31 years. We have 1 daughter who is 26.
I am very new to quilting. My grandma was a quilter and made 100's of hand sewn quilts. I wanted to see if I had any of her skills in me.
I have made a tack quilt for a elderly lady that my aunt keeps. Her health is falling and she fell in love with it ( even with all the mistakes). I have also made my mom a wall hanger. And now I am working on a Prayer storybook quilt.
I am not good with the math thing so I had to get my husband to help me figure the measurements out for a full size quilt. I think it might turn out to be a queen size when I am done with it.
I love this board and it has helped me already!
