Pendleton outlet, Nebraska City, NE, if you work with wool for your quilts. You have to go downstairs - all the yardage is in the basement. The wool is very reasonably priced, and wonderful!
Heavenly Treasures, Pawnee City, NE - out of the way, but so worth the trip. The backings available here are fantastic, and very reasonable.
Material Girl, Grand Island, NE - a great store for a lot of different styles of quilting fabric.
If you are looking for BRIGHTS! - the Cosmic Cow, Lincoln, NE (they do have other styles, too.)
And in Kearney, NE, there is a shop down on 'the bricks' (downtown area) called Quilter's Cottage. I have found a lot of bargains there - also a wide selection of backings.
