OP: I am a book buyer in my 9-5 job, so I read a lot too! You've received a lot of good recommendations already to read now, so here are 2 books I have had the pleasure and privilege of reading the advances on recently:
Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult (on sale in March) - excellent, one of her best since My Sisters Keeper
Left Neglected by Lisa Genova (on sale next week 1/4) - another homerun by the author of Still Alice (also recommend if you haven't read it)
