I took advantage of senior discounts the first chance I could. My husband thought it would people think he was old so he passed them by (I don't offend that easily). At dinner one night, I told the waiter separate checks (my husband paid for both) and showed my discount card. Boy, did that ever open his eyes. He made sure he got the discount from then on everywhere we went. I now go on bus trips to a local Indian casino where we get the cost of the bus back in "free money" and a free (fabulous buffet) lunch. Needless to say, 99% of the trippers are seniors. I say age earns the discounts, so smile and take them. You may look like a senior, but you can always be "young at heart".
