Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you asked this question. I had one of these when I was a kid. It was my favorite toy. I never even thought to ask for the pattern because I figured the original was lost. (Mine was the red heel kind.) Now I have fabric and a pattern to make a sock monkey quilt. What a great gift for a grandchild (who I don't yet have) to give them a sock monkey and a matching quilt!! My son and his bride are going to have to get busy. I have so many kid quilts on my to do list, and it keeps getting longer. All I need is a kid! I won't get caught up until I have a kid!!
