I have used Coats and Clark duel duty for machine piecing and their Hand quilting thread for years, but they must have changed something because now the fiber breaks down and causes knots and that portion gets very thin when hand quilting or hand piecing I have decided not to use their thread anymore. I will be interested to find out what kind is best to try.
