I really didn't have a firm plan when I put it on the machine, especially for how to do the pieced blocks and blank spaces. I just sort of let it tell me what it needed.
It would be fun to know how much time start to finish making the top and doing the quilting took. I'm pretty sure my part was over 35 hours. (That's machine time! I don't keep track of 'think' time! Fortunately some of that happens while I sleep! lol!).
I have no idea how long my customer took to do the embroidery and piecing.
