I am a retired Nurse Practitioner.
If someone were to make me a quilt I would want it to be affirming of me and my occupation. Cute sayings alone wouldn't do it for me.
I have held hands, listened, hugged, explained, and just plain 'been there' with my patients.
It always felt good to have a Thank You.
