Hello from Austin, Texas. I am a grandmother of 6 and have recently returned to sewing; and, I am a beginning quilter. I have completed one large quilt, 3 table toppers (easy ones), and am starting my second quilt. Many years ago I made my own clothes, my children's clothes, and even their costumes etc. School, work, and teaching put a stop to all that as I got really busy. Now, although I no longer teach but am a teacher assistant in SpEd, I have found time to sew! I am hoping I can use this message board to find answers to many of my questions on quilting and to connect with other quilters.
