Well, my philosophy has always been, If you want to do it bad enough you will FIND the time. Back when I was "younger" and working full time, with teenage sons & a husband getting in the way, I came home and sewed window treatments for other people, in addition to making a couple wedding gowns. It was my "therapy" after dealing with dental patients all day. Now I am retired, no husband and no one else around but the dogs and seem to have less time to sew. I think it is because I don't have any time constraints. I waste a lot of time.....
Just curious what you did in the dental office, I have worked in the dental field for over 20 years. front desk and assisiting when needed...I dont miss all the cranky people you had to deal with daily either.
I worked for 2 different dentists over a period of about 17 years. One I was the office manager, dental assistant; did everything in the office as the only employee, even did the taxes. The other dentist I was mostly the assistant, but helped at the front desk evenings and Saturdays when the regular girl didn't work. I used to have to hold hands, teach children how to brush their teeth, and cajol scared people. I really don't miss it a bit. And dealing with insurance companies was the pits.
