What is a worm bin and a lasagna garden??? I sure feel dumb.

I add them to my worm bin rather than throwing out. Of course, I save most scraps but when I cut off pieces from those, then they make either the worm bin or use in lasagna gardening as a layer. I don't throw out, I simply re-purpose!
