I was in my Walmart today.....always check the fabric dept (It still has one, BTW....thank goodness!) Anyway, the fabric clerk had one side of her cutting table stacked very tall with fabrics she had marked down. These were all the better quality fabrics they carry!! Some were $4/yd and some a little lower.
