Thanks to all of you for your help. I have Annie back from the shop and she looked "ok" but purred like a kitten. My husband has to rewire the plug. The repair guys arthritis has kicked in big time and the two screws in there are too small for him to handle right now. My DH didn't think it was clean enough so he took some car paint cleaner to it and my oh my, shines like a new baby's behind!!!!
