I figured it could always be converted to a hand crank or treadle. What do you think, is it worth the $30? It sure was pretty, had a manual, shuttle, bobbins and extra feet. I'd also like to know a little more about the machine but could not find anything on the web.

Thanks!

Get it!! That is a give me price for that machine.

I called the Husqvarna/White 800 number and it is a 2X model and manufactured in 1936 in Cleveland. You convinced me - I'll try and pick it up tonight if it is still there. I can't imagine why it would be so cheap, except that maybe the motor is shot. It is in beautiful shape cosmetically.
