Ladies, I've been sitting today since my last post earlier on here planning my row and the overall look and feel of my quilt. As a result of that contemplation, I do have one small request of everyone if it's at all possible...

At this juncture I believe that in my design there will be (at least in my section) a usage of a small bit of photo fabric material (the kind you print on from your inkjet printer). In my experience having used this prior - it does shrink a bit when washed but also varies depending on what brand is used (and I'm presently going to be using new stock that I've not worked with prior). As a result of the same, I'm not going to use prewashed fabrics during the construction of my blocks, as I would rather when washing my particular quilt top for the first time have my top uniformly shrink all over (which gives a particular look) once the top has been completed by everyone.

Given those thoughts, if it is possible on your end when working from your stash etc - I would then ask that you'd please do not prewash the fabric when designing your row however your creativity takes you on my quilt top.

If you are a quilter who always purchases fabric and immediately washes fabric before officially adding it to your stash - you need not purchase new fabric to accommodate my request, please, please use what you have! :) I just figured that if I express my preference now during the planning stage - that if you haven't yet washed the fabric you intend on using, or in the alternative haven't yet obtained the necessary fabric for your part of the top's design, then you'd know you didn't need to wash it.

As for everyone else tops - I will prewash my fabrics for use unless any of you chooses to request a preference as I have to the contrary (that fabrics not be washed).

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!
