If she's in pain and suffering, it would be kinder to let her go. We had to do it for our Dixie(lab/pitbull) last April, it was the
hardest thing we've ever done. Dixie was 16 and very ill with kidney failure. Everyone who was in the room got a final kiss from her before our vet put her on the table. As she slipped away we all felt, her joy at being free of her broken, sick body. I still miss her a lot, we had her for 13 years. Lots of hugs for you as you make this very difficult decision.
