This is a little bit of my completed scrappy twin top. Two winters ago, I turned many boxes of my scraps into the following:

Squares: 2.5", 3.5", 4", 5.5", 6"
segments just for this quilt, 2.5x5.5"
Another category was "long and skinny"

In the process, I got rid of a lot of truely useless stuff, reducing scraps significantly.

I also completed the top.

I always use scraps, both for applique and for scrappy foundation quilts and handbags.

I was given both the white and yellow floral and the peachy fabrics, which are not in my usual color range.
