You may have seen this in my "messy" room. I now have the sashing on it and am awaiting new backing fabric. The piece I planned on using isn't big enough so finally found some silk velvet to back it with. Will add the border after the fabric comes to see which looks best. This is all silk dupioni; the white border is silk taffeta from the leftover from my DDILs wedding gown I made her 20 years ago. The batting is silk/bamboo, very soft and yummy. She made me a request a couple years ago for something made from the silk taffeta. I still don't know what is the matter with me sometimes :roll: :lol:
