And we spent New Years' Day walking around knocking on doors asking "Can we see your tree?' Every house gave us some goodies! I remember a young Polish couple that had moved to the states and hadn't any family here. They did not speak english but they were so happy to have visitors.
What a neat tradition. I would love to do something like that. I look at trees in the windows when I'm driving and wonder what they look like. What fun it would be to go door to door and see them up close.
