I just made this quilt for my 3 year old nephew for Christmas. The quilt was fairly easy, especially using black fusable bias tape and a double needle to sew it. But the spider and the sun, my own designs, were a challenge! My seam ripper got lots of use.

It measures 60" square, with a combination of machine and hand quilting. The idea came from one of Georgia Bonisteel's books, although I changed it quite a bit. My nephew lives overseas, so I don't see him much, but when he was here last August we played Itsy Bitsy Spider with our fingers alot.

Thanks for letting me share. I look at all your gorgeous pictures of your quilts every time I am on this site. You all inspire me!
