I know what you mean about the limited disability income! fabric.com is a great online place for good fabric with reasonable prices, and there are others. I learned of them on this board. So you can still get really nice fabric reasonably, if you shop on line at all. I never used to, but after listening to the great recommendations here, I tried it, and did well.
