I recently received my first walking foot and my first FMQ foot for my sewing machine. I had plans to do lots of trials before quilting with it, but I couldn't stand it any longer and just attached the walking foot. I am working on a baby quilt I have to have finished and shipped by the 12th of this month that I just got sandwiched yesterday. Is it safe to just use it like a regular foot (I know it doesn't stitch backward)?
I could like try it on the frame of this panel? Or should I wait for DH to wake so I can rattle bags near where he's now sleeping?
