This work in progress is a small top, unquilted as of now.

I designed it using a popular old local pattern made of split 9patch blocks, called Perkiomen Valley Split 9patch. Instead of split 9patches, I just used half square triangles. Not as much sewing, only 2 pieces per square instead of 12 pieces.

I think I will quilt it soon, maybe with continuous curves or straight lines in the red and feathers in the turquoise, but I'm still deciding what to do with it. It's about 35" square.
