Where is your home located??? We lived in Kaiserslautern for 5 years many years ago. My DH was a career Army officer. we loved our time in Germany, there were sooo many castles and interesting places to visit almost every weekend.

I live in the Northern part of Germany, the northernmost federal state called Schleswig-Holstein. Hamburg is about 45 km south-west from here and we can reach the Baltic Sea in a one hour drive.
One of my cousins lives near Kaiserslautern with his family.
