I've gone on that one for ideas a lot. My granddaughter likes to get a sheet of graph paper and colored pencils and she sits across from me at my table. She will ask what colors I'm going to use and then she'll get a regular pencil,draw the dimensions of the quilt and design the quilt block for that quilt.Sammi is fantastic when it comes to color use and design.She tells me she doesn't want me to get lonely in my quilt shop.I have sold a lot of quilts that have the labels"designed by Samantha,made by Lyn"I can see the look of pride in her eyes when a customer wants to meet the 12 year old who designed the layout of the quilt she bought.That happened right before Christmas. So for Christmas I fixed a place for her in the quilt room with a drafting table and all the design tools she would want.
