I think there may be a typo here. I think she means piecing! It took me the longest time to call piecing piecing, a block a block and a square a square. A block is square - a bunch of squares make a block. I still call it a square sometimes when I should call it a block. I sometimes think that not knowing something is better than knowing it all and in quilting you never know it all. I would really like to know the original origination of the names of blocks (or was that squares). I find that to be extremely interesting. I also like to look at a pattern and say "I can't do this" and do it and discover how easy it was to do. I love days like that. Happy Quilting! Edie
