They will disappear fast..
2 eggs slightly Beaten
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cup rasins and nuts (I use 2 cups) soak in hot water to plump up raisins for about 10 minutes.
Salted Butter melted and cooled– one stick - (1 / 2 cup )
add slightly beaten egg with rest of ingredients – add cooled melted butter last and mix well.
Fill unbaked tart shells - 2/3 full bake 350 degrees 12 – 15 minutes depending on how runny you want them. I do them closer to 12 minutes makes about 30 tarts
I buy pre made tart shells.. You may not have them in the USA, but you can make your own.
Enjoy….They won’t last long.
Should make 30 tarts fill to ¾ full
Another receipe for Butter TARTS:
1 cup raisins
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp butter (very soft)
1 egg (well beaten)
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup corn syrup (light)
Scald raisins (Pour boiling water over them, let sit for a few minutes) While warm add butter and other ingredients.
Put into defrosted Frozen Tart Shells. ….easy way out….Only takes a few minutes to make delicious HOME MADE BUTTER TARTS…Simple Recipe.
Bake 400 degrees – 12 to 15 minutes depending on how runny you want them, I do them closer to 12 minutes.
Makes about 16 tarts...
