I like the black too..but a more narrow strip, then of course a scrappy border. I love the piano key type border which would look great with this one. Its really easy and you can use up lots of little scraps doing it.
(I was told when I started to learn to quilt that if you couldn't see a mistake when galloping by on a horse, then it wasn't important) :wink:
