I got a spare piece of bathroom wall paneling from the garage and put the warm and natural batting on one side of it and then got some of the silver/shiney heat resistant fabric and put it over all that. And believe it or not, I duct taped it firmly on the other side and it's worked like a charm. I'll have to take a picture of it.

I can lay it anywhere - on my sewing table, on the bed, on the floor. And when I'm not using it, I just stand it up next to my table.

I've had it for about 5 years now and it's just as good as when I first made it.
