I hand-quilt all my quilts.I can do 2 a month, sometimes 3-4 if it's couch or baby quilts. But queen or king, well it goes back to 2 a month and I make 1 to sell and 1 to donate. That's the way my grandma taught me,to always think of someone else who might need a warm quilt while I am getting the benefit of the money from the quilt I'm selling.I only have 11 months to make quilts to sell and donate. That sounds like a lot, but it is really isn't.The quilt money goes to christmas, birthdays for grandchildren, quilt supplies, and home repairs. It seems like every Christmas I have something in my house that breaks down and needs to be fixed or replaced.I'v been lucky with my quilts so far.I have not had to spend any money other than the $100.00 I started with(I replaced it)for any quilt supplies.
