The hexagon ones are 2.5inch (by width of fabric) strips sewn together then i used a 60 degree triangle to cut out the 6 triangles alternating the ruler...then sew 3 together and the other 3 together then sew the 2 halves together..sandwich with batting and a backing, quilt and bind it and your done!
