I have plastic bins of fabric and had cedar balls etc in them to help with any storage problems, when my DGD said why not use a disposable diaper as they have dessicator pellets in them to keep the babies dry. It seems to work great.
Remove the cedar balls, they will discolor the fabrics...... Not long ago I read on a someones blog/site that cedar chest are the worst place we can store our quilts. Recommends for archival papers is top on the list now.
