The Patched Into the Thirties started off as a copy of one I saw in a LQS about five years ago. Then I forgot the pattern, so I just made up something I thought would look nice. It worked well enough. The square has two rows of triangles around it. The sashing for the nine patches was cut at one inch. I felt the nine patches needed framing before shashing with the green fabric. If you wanted to make one, you can use your own measurements.
The prize quilt is from
Linda's Quilt Shop, Inc. in Denton, Texas. It is named
Bluebonnet Fields. It was not large enough for my bed so I enlarged it. The pattern did not have any of the embroidery or the fence. I thought it looked plain and decided to jazz it up. I don't know if the pattern is still available.
Thank you for you kind words.
