read the package, some of the 80/20 blend batts at walmart have to be quilted every 2" which means a very heavily quilted quilt. they are ok for hand quilting, very soft, needle nicely. if that is what you are going for. if you want a quilt to toss around, wash every now & then and Use...you may want a batt that only needs to be quilted every 4-6" or even up to 10". it is very important to follow the recommendations for density of quilting. if you have a batt that says quilt every 2" and you only do every 6"-8" when it gets washed it will ball up inside the spaces without quilting and you will have a lumpy quilt.
