I use a 80/20 very often, the Hobbs, Legacy and at the moment the Luna brand. They are all wonderful for hand quilting (the manufacturer suggests to quilt max. 4" apart) and they are really cuddly, especially after washing the finished quilt. I do not prewash them because I like the antique look but normally you can - check the instructions on the bag. The quilt drapes very nicely and isn't stiff - even when you quilt it very densely.
