Thank you for the help. These are beautiful, but the one I'm wanting has a pinwheel spiral that is spinning off ribbons that loop and curl and float in all direction to make the rest of the quilt. The ribbons entwine, weave, branch off and eventually wander off the edge of the quilt. It looks like an optical illusion that the fast spinning pinwheel has spun the ribbons so fast that they are tangling in some places.
Of course it is done in marvelous colors against a solid background and none of the blocks are the same( or it didn't look like they would be). Rather than try to design this I was hoping someone had a pattern. I hope you've seen a picture of this quilt.
