Similar to this one, I am attaching a picture of a cone holder my husband made me and one for my daughter, to hold the large 5,000 yard cones for machine embroidery. Made from a wooden flat board base with a wooden down screwed into it. There is a little eye hook on top to bring the thread up into and then it goes across to the machine. It works great and have been using it for years, on different machines. In fact, I need another one.
