Glad to meet you. The quilt square is a fussy cut and there's a certain way they sew the border around it that makes it look 3-dimensional. Usually the border is dark to make the picture in the quilt square stand out. Do I make sense? I once went to a Amish Quilt show and I saw it there. It was amazingly beautiful.
