Just a comment on an encounter with Susan Carlson. In Oct I was on a plane from Maine to Chicago on my way back home to Texas from a visit with my cousin in Maine & a very nice woman helped me with getting my carryon bag in the overhead & then was my seatmate. We made small talk during the trip & when I asked about her trip she simply said she was going to speak at a seminar. I didn't ask about the subject matter. At the very end when the plane was landing, I said something about quilting & she reached into her pocket & gave me her card. I couldn't believe I rode the whole way with such an artist & we didn't even know each other's interest. I would have loved to have talked to her about her use of fabrics & etc. She said to look up her website if I was interested & of course, I did when I got home. She helped me with my bag upon landing & seems to be truly a gracious person.
