Beautiful fabrics that would work better in a colourwash than a bargello. If you have too many fabrics that are close together, you get a very large area that blends, rather than ripples. This is OK if you want that effect. Colourwash quilts call for the blending, with a few 'zingers' thrown in to give it 'oomph'. whilst bargello tends to be more about the contrasts. If you are really clever, I suppose you could end up with a colourwash bargello. Putting the white in will break up the blending of the similar fabrics.
