Both Singers and Kenmores used the old bayonette mount light bulbs. They're interchangable and I have swapped them out many times. When my Singer's burnt out I went to our local poor excuse for a hardware store and of course they didn't have any. Then I happened to remember that I'd salvaged some parts off a couple un-fixable Kenmores. Found the box, found the light bulb.
